Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra

Saturday 23 July

From the instantly recognisable themes of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Harry Potter to the magnificent dinosaurs as depicted in John Williams’ Jurassic Park, there’s no better way to experience the music that has defined many of the most powerful moments in cinema.

Indulge in the grounds of Tamworth Castle to the sounds of Chariots of Fire and The Great Escape, soar across the skies with ET’s Flying Theme and gallop into the sunset with The Magnificent Seven, all with the grandeur of a full orchestra.

Plus Russell Watson and The Overtones.

Russell WatsonThere’s not one but two supports for the evening, one of which is the world's greatest classical singers and the UK's best-selling classical artist, Russell Watson. Russell has performed for monarchs, popes and prime ministers and now takes to the stage in Tamworth Castle Grounds.

Also performing are The Overtones. The No1 vocal harmony group have racked up multi-platinum record sales, released 6 studio albums and sold out 11 National Tours – firmly establishing them as ‘One of the UK’s most popular and prolific live acts’. The four-piece are best known for their exquisite vocals, pitch perfect harmonies, effortless and perfectly-timed dance moves, and their charming and distinctive style.
