This year’s free extravaganza is another jam packed day of festive fun for the whole family.

Live music, fairground rides, festive food, craft market, and craft activities. New to this year, the lantern parade starts in St Editha's Square with a special performance not to be missed.

Catboy, the much loved PJ Masks children's character, will be apperaing at intervals throughout the afternoon at Ankerside Shopping Centre before appearing at the light switch on with Father Christmas and friends.

  • 3.20pm: The Feel Good Choir
  • 3.40pm: Just Perform- Musical Theatre Group
  • 4pm: 12 Days of Christmas Singalong - with Tamworth Panto, Start of the lantern parade
  • 4.40pm: St Leonards Primary School Choir
  • 5pm: Meg Benton
  • 5.10pm: Tamworth Voices
  • 5.30pm: D- Day Darlings Duo and Juniors
  • 5.50pm: Santa, The Winner of the Bloom Bake Off and the Mayor, PJ Masks.
  • 6pm: Christmas Lights Switch On

12 Days of Christmas Lantern Parade Celebration 4pm

Members of the community come together to show their lanterns.

A one-off performance starting in St Editha’s square and finishing at the Bandstand

 If you have had the opportunity to make a lantern at one of our previous workshops please collect your lantern for the parade on Sunday 24th November at 3pm from Ankerside Shopping Cente, Unit 49, formerly Argos) and make your way to St Edithas Square to join the parade at 4pm.

The following groups are participating in our Lantern parade: Care First, St.Francis Church, Ladymeadow W.I., Cuckoo Mosaics, Amington Wives, Community Together, Ankerside Shopping , Tudor House, Tamworth Arts & Events, Tamworth Tap, Civic Society, St.Chad’s
