Assems' Touring Exhibition

We are excited to announce that our touring exhibition is now up and running and touring around Tamworth!

With the help of local groups and individuals, we have created a digital archive showcasing Tamworth Assembly Rooms Past, Present and future. The exhibition features a digital interactive tablet which allows you to delve into the venues history; discover existing plans of the building, look back through the ages via stories and images and have a look at what the future will bring. After looking through the digital archive we invite you to share your memories of The Assems via the comment cards and take a sticker to promote the archive to family and friends.

The exhibition would not have been possible without the help of local volunteers, performers and Assems goers who have kindly given us access to their treasured memories. We would like to thank everyone who donated images and stories so that they can be shared for everyone to see.

The exhibition can be found at Tamworth Information Centre which is situated within Tamworth council marmion house main reception and is available to access during library opening times. If you have been to see the exhibition, why not shout about it on social media using #AssemsOnTour
